How long will the cleaning take?

The time needed depends on the property’s size, condition, furnishings and requested tasks. We’ll review these details and confirm the expected schedule before booking. Tell us if movers or maintenance contractors will also be working that day.

Does the property need to be empty?

An empty property gives the team easier access to floors, corners and cupboards. If furniture or belongings will remain, tell us when requesting a quote so we can confirm what can be reached and cleaned.

Are appliance and cupboard interiors included?

Only when they are listed in your quote. Tell us which appliances, cupboards or wardrobes you want cleaned inside, and whether they will be empty, so the extra work can be included in the plan.

Will move-out cleaning guarantee my deposit back?

No. Cleansy provides the cleaning agreed in your quote, but we cannot promise a deposit refund or a particular inspection outcome. Share any cleaning checklist from your landlord or agent before booking so we can review the requested tasks.

An empty home gives the cleaning team access to floor edges, corners and surfaces that furniture usually covers. We plan the visit around the property’s condition, your moving date and any handover requirements you share.

Moving out or ending a tenancy

Arrange cleaning after your belongings have been removed and before you return the keys, where possible. If your landlord or agent has provided a cleaning checklist, share it with us so we can confirm which tasks your quote covers.

Moving into your next home

Wipe cupboard fronts and accessible tiled surfaces.

Bathrooms

Clean toilets, basins, taps and shower areas.
Wipe accessible tiles, mirrors and glass.
Clean reachable residue and water marks using suitable methods.

Bedrooms and living areas

Dust accessible shelves, ledges and surfaces.
Wipe doors, handles, switches and skirting boards.

Scope note: The cleaning service does not include painting, repairs, pest control, specialist restoration, high exterior window cleaning or heavy construction debris removal.

We quote each property individually. The price depends on its size and condition, whether it is furnished, and the tasks you want included. Cleaning inside appliances or cupboards can require extra time.
